It is your responsibility to check before booking!

Do you have a minimum of 2yrs driving experience?

You can only drive one of our horseboxes if you have a minimum of 2 years driving experience.

Are you between the ages of 25-70years old?

You may drive our vehicles if you are aged between 25-70

If you are outside of this age range, you may still be able to drive one of our horseboxes, but your details will be referred to our insurance company on an individual basis.

What documents do I need to send to make a booking?

In order to hire a self-drive horsebox, we will need to see both sides of your full photo card driving licence, 2 utility bills with your address dated within the last 60 days, DVLA licence check code and a signed copy of our T&C's and Contract (both of which can be downloaded from our website).

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes, there is a booking deposit required, a £50 or 25% of the booking fee whichever is greater is required to confirm your dates.

Do I need to put fuel in the horsebox?

We will provide a full tank of diesel (and a full tank of petrol for the 7.2t generator), all that we ask is that you return the horsebox with a full tank (and petrol is topped up in generator). All we ask is that the tank is full when returned.

We ask for a £100 refundable deposit for the 3.5t and a £150 refundable deposit for the 7.2t. Failure to do so may incur a refuelling charge and none repayment of the fuel deposit.

You will need to insure your horse for travel as this will not be covered.

You MUST always carry your horse’s passport when travelling, if in the unfortunate event that you do need rescue services, they may not carry your horse without it.
